Adult RE with the UUA Common Read!

This year’s Unitarian Universalist Association Common Read is Social Change Now, by Deepa Iyer. From the website:

Social Change Now is a practical guide for those at every stage of their individual and organizational journeys towards justice, equity and solidarity. It introduces an ecosystems framework that includes ten roles that many of us play in service of our social change values.

Perhaps this is a framework we need now more than ever! In October and November, Chris Basgier will be leading an adult RE series about the book. We’ll have community discussion and hands-on activities.

  • When: Mondays, 10/13-11/17, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Where: Upper Busch Center

For the best experience, plan to read the introduction to the book and thumb through the rest ahead of time (you can purchase it from InSpirit Book Store), and plan to attend all 6 sessions. If you need assistance purchasing the book, or if you need child care, please let me know. The e-book is also available for free through Hoopla (available with many library cards).

We’re hoping for a great turnout! No need to pre-register.
