Happy Pride Month 2025! 🏳️‍🌈

Whether you are just joining in for the fun, walking with us in the parade, or volunteering at the festival, we hope to see you there!

Parade: Friday June 6th @ 6 pm, downtown Opelika- see route below. Will finish at the courthouse square. If you would like to walk with other members and friends of AUUF in the parade, line up will begin at 5 pm sharp at the Auburn Bank Main Office lot (215 S. 6th St., Opelika, AL 36801).  We walk at 6 pm.  In previous years, we have dressed in colors of the rainbow/ bright colors. Come Pride proud in your Pride gear and/or as you are comfortable, with the integrity and values of the AUUF in mind. Feel free to bring handheld signage/banners/ fun stuff.  Wear comfortable footwear, bring your water, etc.  THROWING ANYTHING TO THE CROWDS IS PROHIBITED. Festival: Saturday June 7th noon – 6 pm, Kiesel Park in Auburn. If you would like to volunteer for a shift at the AUUF tent, we need people to help setup at 10:45, and greeters at the booth at noon, 2 pm and 4 pm for 2-hour shifts. If you’d like to help spread the word about our values in the community, please let Jim Newton know!

Additionally, Pride on the Plains is seeking volunteers for the festival. If you want to help make PrideFest 2025 happen, please sign up here: https://forms.gle/uySEeDLyyPcVnH7a7 You will work alongside the Pride on the Plains Board Members and Auxiliary team to make sure PrideFest 2025 is as smooth as possible. We are all looking forward to the big day!
