We are thrilled to announce that Reverend Marti Keller will be continuing as the half- time contract minister for AUUF, from July 2025- to June 2026! This news brings us immense joy and gratitude as we look forward to continuing our journey together under her compassionate and wise leadership.
Rev. Keller’s roots run deep in our faith with fifty year as a devoted UU, including 25 as an ordained minister- her path has been nothing short of inspiring.
She was active as a teenager in Liberal Religious Youth. As an adult she was a lay leader in religious education , denominational affairs, social justice, small groups and worship.
She has served congregations in the South since 1998. as well as community ministries (unhoused women and children) and the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation in the arena of gender justice. She was given the UUWF Women in Ministry Award in 2020.
She is past president of Unitarian Universalists for Jewish Awareness and current board member. She was the co-editor of “Jewish Voices in Unitarian Universalism” (Skinner House Press 2014)
Prior to ministry, she was a reporter and editor, and worked in communications and public witness for Planned Parenthood in California. She also served as executive director for two statewide organizations focusing on women and children,, and was policy director for the Georgia Rural-Urban Summit.
In her current role as Minister at AUUF, she has been our guiding light and has consistently embodied the spirit and values of Unitarian Universalism. Her leadership at AUUF as been a testament to her unwavering faith, wisdom, and consummate leadership. Rev. Keller cultivates a sense of peace and well-being wherever she goes, inspiring us all the live more fully, love more deeply, and connect more authentically.
As we prepare for this next chapter, let us celebrate and support Re. Keller as she continues her ministry with us. We will build a welcoming, inclusive, and spiritually enriching community where all are cherished and empowered.
