How to Help:
- Sign Up: View the different descriptions below and decide how you are best able to help out
- Show Up: Make plans to attend the Auction and bring a friend.
- Donate: If you are able and willing, submit auction items at auuf.org/auction Decide what items or talents you can share with the fellowship. Our goal is to only accept unique live and silent auction items.
- Registration: Use the registration link on auuf.org/auction to secure your place in the room where it happens & open your online bidding access.
- Have Fun: Seriously, it’s going to be a blast!

BEFORE DECEMBER 5th
- Organizing Team – Help with planning the We meet periodically on zoom for 30-60 minutes to ensure that all parts of the Auction cometogether for the night of the event. This effort will occur From Mid October to Mid December (5-10)
- Organize Beverage Table – Solicit beer, wine, soda, coolers, ice from Fellowship This effort will occur over a period of weeks, startingnow and ending just before the Auction (1)
- Organize Food Table – Solicit donations of food from members of the This effort will occur over a period of weeks, starting now andending just before the Auction (3)
- Setup – Need 4 volunteers to work as a team to arrange the chairs and set up tables in the sanctuary by Wednesday, December 3rd 2 Tables for Food, 2 for Beverage. Map will be provided. (4)
- Arrange live auction items for display – Make it easy for people to inspect the items (and bid!)
- Catalog Items – Catalog Live and Silent Items, Describing and photographing each for the online catalog (2)
- Childcare Coordinator – Orgainizing before the night of the auction, getting childcare to cover the number of kids preregistered, ordering food and drink, keeping track of hours and making sure the childcare workers hours are reported to treasurer to be paid. (1)
NIGHT OF THE AUCTION December 5th
- Greeter – welcome guests, answer questions, orient them to the registration table to get a bidding paddle (2)
- Food Server Early Start – Accept donated food in the AUUF Kitchen. Put food out on the food table, and replenish as needed. 5PM – 7:30PM (3)
- Food Server Late Start – Help replenish the food table throughout the 7:30PM – 9PM (2)
- Refreshment Server Early Start – Drinks 5PM – 7:30PM (2)
- Refreshment Server Late Start – Drinks 7:30PM – 9PM (2)
- Registration/Checkout Table – Assist guests that have not preregistered with signing into the auction, issuing them a bid number and corresponding paddle to be used during the live auction. Recording Live auction Bids in software. At end of night assisting guests with checkout paying for their Live Auction Items (3)
- Roaming Registrations – Assist guests with registration and online bidding for silent auction items during the evening. (2)
- Auction Clean up – Help bring the food operation to orderly completion. Take out trash and recycling. Tasks include cleaning up the Beverage Table, Food Table, Vacuuming arranging chairs for Sunday . 9-9:30PM (4)
- Bid Runner – Assist the Auctioneer spotting bids during the Live Auction. Recording the Bid/Bigger on card, turn in to recording desk (3)
AFTER AUCTION DEC 6th+
- Silent Auction Managers – Compete the Silent Auction bidding and Payment on Dec 10th at 8PM (2)
- Pickup Hours – Following the silent auction close, hold office hours at the Busch Center to allow winning bidders to pick up their items. (2)
