Many astronomers believe that it is axiomatic that intelligent life in the universe must exist. If it is true would many of these societies search for something greater than themselves – God, a higher power, or perhaps some other spiritual manifestation?
Richard Cohen was a journalist for more than 40 years, beginning his career as a music journalist and moving into writing about business strategies in a number of industries. For many years he was the Editor and chief writer for Healthcare Marketing Report and Healthcare Call Center Times. He also had a side interest in the pizza industry, having written hundreds of stories over a 15 year period for Pizza Today Magazine and other pizza publications.
He has held a fascination with science fiction, time travel and reincarnation beliefs for many years and decided to join the fray more than 20 years ago with his debut novel Unchecked Time. Altogether, Richard is the author of five sci-fi books, of which the latest is Slipstreaming Away: The Search for the Divine – which he will be talking about this morning.
