“A vote is a kind of prayer about the kind of world you want to live in.” — The Rev. Raphael Warnock
Tuesday November 3rd, the people vote. After months of campaigns, may we find a moment of presence before we begin to process the results and consider what comes next.
Whatever the outcome, our commitment to one another and to building a beloved community remains unchanged. We can continue to create a community rooted in compassion, connection, understanding, and care for one another.
If you’re not quite ready to jump back into the stream and would appreciate a friendly place to decompress, reflect, and share your feelings about the outcome and what it means, our sanctuary will be open tomorrow (Wednesday, November 4) from 9:30–11:30 a.m. and 4:30–6:30 p.m.
We’ll have snacks and a few mindful activities to help us pause, reflect, and reconnect.
Whatever tomorrow brings, we will keep showing up for one another and working toward the beloved community we know is possible.
