Giving of the Plate November 2026

Each month, on Potluck Sunday, the funds collected during the offertory are donated to an organization that is actively involved in meaningful work aligned with our UU values in the community toward creating a better, more equitable world for all.

This month we will be supporting our sister Church, the First Universalist Church of Camp Hill.

The First Universalist Church of Camp Hill is a historic and active church located in Camp Hill, Tallapoosa County, Alabama. It holds a prominent place in Southern religious history as the oldest Unitarian Universalist church in Alabama and was the largest Universalist congregation in the southeastern United States during the first half of the 20th century.

They run The Oak Street Community Center– a mutual aid hub, managing a local food pantry, a community garden themed around the Unitarian Universalist value of “interdependence,” and offering volunteer-run transportation for neighbors needing rides to appointments.

We will be making this a new annual tradition, giving our November GOTP to their general fund.

Thank you for your support.
