Join us on Saturday, March 28th from 10am–12pm at our usual spot at Toomer’s Corner. We’ll spread out across the campus lawn and line College Street with our signs in an unmistakable display of solidarity.
This is our chance to show that there are people here who reject the cruelty of the Trump administration, and that our numbers are growing every day. Bring a sign. Bring a friend. Bring your voice.
As always, this will be a peaceful, nonviolent protest. Our trained safety marshals will be present to assist with crowd flow and de-escalation so that everyone can participate safely and confidently. Contact us if you have any questions.

We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. “
“Our original plan included overflow from Toomer’s Corner onto the campus lawns. The University did not approve that request. While we strongly disagree and hope for a different outcome in the future, we will respect their decision this weekend to protect both our group and our message.
That means we must remain on public sidewalks and avoid campus lawns. We can gather at the corner in the circular brick area where we usually protest and line the surrounding streets and sidewalks. Please do not linger on the grass — the university stated specifically that Samford lawn is not a public space and “not a free speech zone.”
We will have safety marshals in place to help with crowd flow and ensure we’re not blocking pedestrian traffic. This setup gives us even more visibility along College Street — let’s use it. We can’t wait to see your signs.
See you Saturday, and don’t forget to bring a friend.
