Just a reminder that this Sunday is the third annual “Cool Your Heels” service. Now someone asked if this was an “informal” service. Well, nothing could be farther from the truth. This is a REAL service just as much as sitting back and enjoying life is real! We will be meeting in the back of the Busch Center with chairs set up for our usual service, opening, chalice lighting, offertory, children’s story, etc. But for the service part, we will then have you move your chairs around the various wading pools placed throughout the backyard to sit, chat, and cool your heels!

Now congregational assistance is needed–

1. we have three pools. If you have one that we can use, please let me know asap (zabawar@gmail,com; or 334-552-1321)

2. Fruit–this is a great light and refreshing accompaniment to the pool. So bring watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches, etc. (NOTE: this is not in place of Potluck Sunday which is next week!)

3. Light drinks–juices, teas, etc. You get the point. (Also Angels, we will still need the usual coffee)

3. Yourselves–come wearing shorts or roll-up pants, sandals, flip-flops, whatever that can be peeled off (the footwear, not the pants) so you can enjoy a relaxing soak
