On April 2nd at sundown, Jewish people and others sat down to a traditional Passover Seder, a sacred meal, to recall, celebrate and dig deeper – if they dared – into the scriptural story of Exodus and its meaning, not only for their own religious history but for all people. Buried in the Haggadah (the order of service) for this most significant holy day, is the song about and notion of Dayenu- a Zen Koan in the midst of the bible story. It would be enough – what is enough?
