Recipe Roundtable

Aunt Katie’s sour cream coffee cake was a family favorite on holiday mornings. Mom always got the yellowed, perfectly-penned recipe card out of her box before she began cooking. Every now and then a drop of batter would get on the recipe card, leaving a small stain and an extra memory of the cake’s deliciousness for whoever looked at the card next. Which family recipe brings joy to your kitchen? If not a recipe-card coffeecake, perhaps a cookbook quick pasta or a pinterest special salad? In this service, we will share a tapestry of loved recipes with each other. Bring a printout to share of a favorite recipe or two and tell its story to the congregation. Later, recipes will be replicated and distributed to attendees. A congregational cookbook was never so easily assembled!
